Global Table 2019 Hackathon

Are you interested in immersive technologies or have some C#, Unity or AR development skills? Apply to be a part of the Hackathon on board the Think Digital Coach at Global Table 3–6 September 2019

Global Table 3-6 Sept 2019 – Hackathon

Are you a University student or programmer eager to test out your skills in Augmented Reality?

Apply now for the Think Digital Hackathon at Global Table and help create a solution that gives consumers more visibility over the provenance of their food.

Consumers are demanding more information on the food they purchase, from animal welfare to food miles, farming practices to nutrition information. In this hack, you will create an AR experience for consumers so they can understand their food purchases in more detail.

The team will work under the guidance of Tim Gentle on-board the Think Digital Coach, parked within the Innovation Precinct of Global Table.  The goal is to create an immersive technology experience that will provide key product information to consumers, such as product history and provenance.

At the end of the hack, you will present the solution in the Innovation Precinct, which is open to all Global Table attendees including leading figures in food and ag-tech. You’ll be assisted by the expertise from Amazon Web Services as they support the hackers with their products, services and expertise. You’ll also get the chance to work alongside more experienced developers.

One winner will be selected by Tim Gentle at the end of the hackathon and receive a one-month cadetship with Tim, including one week on the ground in Adelaide, with travel and accommodation included.
