Immersive STEM Experiences
To inspire, engage and educate students, teachers and community members of Central NSW, Rocky the Think Digital Coach spent 14 days on the road with OPTUS visiting rural and remote communities.
We ran hands-on STEM workshops with students, engaging them with exciting immersive technologies.
Students went flying through space, visited geographical icons such as the Pyramids of Giza and the Great
Wall of China, and built an augmented reality solar system – just to name a few of the exciting activities they engaged with.
We also ran professional development sessions for the teachers at these schools, to learn about these technologies and how to integrate them into the classroom to compliment the students’ learning.
We are so lucky to be able to visit these rural communities and share our knowledge and passion for technology with people who might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience them!
