Wine Australia has recently launched an innovative new digital careers website that aims to nurture Australia’s next generation of viticulture and wine sector professionals.
It was straight back to her Clare Valley roots for Think Digital’s CEO Kat Bidstrup, with two of the featured wineries being Paulett’s and Taylors, both in the region she was proud to grow up in.
As delivery partners for many of the immersive components of this innovative resource, it was a real privilege to get behind the scenes and meet some of the interesting people contributing to this industry and help bring their stories to life. We included 360° images, 2D storytelling and a Wine Australia virtual tour as part of the overall experience.
We were particularly proud to develop a careers matrix that allows for students to identify potential careers based on their self nominated strengths, proving there really is a career opportunity for everyone in wine.
Sitting behind the resource is our custom built Insights platform, allowing for the Wine Australia team to access user analytics on how the tool is being used.
A wonderful client and an interesting and diverse industry. And while it was tough work touring and filming some of the most beautiful wine regions in Australia, someone had to do it!
