Think Digital Biosecurity Symposium 2024

Australian Biosecurity Symposium, Gold Coast, 2024 – Think Digital

As agricultural innovators, we are fully aware that biosecurity is critical for ensuring stability for Australia’s future. As such, Think Digital was thrilled to be invited by Animal Health Australia (AHA) to both present and exhibit at the 3rd Australian Biosecurity Symposium in the Gold Coast how we use cutting edge XR and AI solutions to address problems in biosecurity.

During the event, we had the opportunity to showcase our own solutions including:

Kat was in her element as part of a panel discussion on stage. She raised the point that a lot of initiatives and funding for biosecurity have been siloed, and that it is crucial for us to look for collaborative opportunities. We highly recommend contacting kat@think.digital if this interests you.

We also got to meet the legendary Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia! Costa tried on the Microsoft HoloLens and, using our Sheep EAD tool, was able to determine that the digital sheep suffered from Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD). On ya, Costa!

Think Digital also had the opportunity to showcase our RemoteVet AI application. We demonstrated how we trained our own Artificial Intelligence model to identify emergency animal diseases in cattle such as FMD. We truly believe that RemoteVet AI will play a critical role in reinforcing Australia’s biosecurity, and we strongly urge those who are interested to get in touch with us at info@think.digital.

Furthermore, we also gave AHA a debut viewing of our newly created Cattle EAD application, which is soon to be published on mobile platforms such as Android and iOS, and for the Microsoft HoloLens.

It was wonderful to catch up with colleagues and create new networks. It was also fulfilling to realise that our contributions were highly valued, as Think Digital were asked to present at the AHA Industry Forum in Canberra a month later!

The team here at Think Digital would love your input or ideas for biosecurity-related collaborations. Please get in contact with us, or email Kat directly kat@think.digital.
